How we rank
Each place gets a score from its Google rating, weighed by how many people have reviewed it, with a small lift for publishing its prices and hours. Prices come from each place's own menu.

About onsen and sento in Bangkok
Bangkok has a small number of Japanese-style onsen and sento: hot baths you pay to enter, usually with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a rest area and a restaurant. Most separate men and women, and in Japanese style you bathe without a swimsuit in the separate areas. Massage and spa treatments are often sold on top.
Each onsen's page shows its entry fee and rules where it publishes them: children's prices, towel rental and any time limit.
What is the difference between an onsen and a sento?
In Japan an onsen uses natural hot-spring water and a sento is a public bath with heated tap water. Bangkok's places use both names; the page says what each place says about its water.
Do I need a swimsuit?
In separate men's and women's baths, usually not: you bathe as in Japan. Mixed areas, where there are any, need a swimsuit. Each place's rules are on its page when it publishes them.
Are tattoos allowed?
Rules differ. Some places ask you to cover tattoos. Check the place's own rules before you go.
