How we list and rank

Places are ordered by their Google rating, weighted by the number of reviews, so a 5.0 from three reviews doesn't outrank a 4.7 from four hundred. Places that publish their prices, hours and a website get a small extra.

Station pages are ordered by distance from the station instead. Walking times are the straight-line distance times 1.3, at 80 metres a minute.

Prices come from each place's own website. Where a place publishes none, we may show what Google reviewers say they paid, always labelled as not an official menu. Ratings are Google ratings on the date shown.
